Apple has released iOS 7 beta 2 for developers to make apps and do the things they do but it is for developers at this time but there is a good news for everyone that they can also install iOS 7 beta 2 without UDID and Developer Account For free.

The steps for Downloading and Installing iOS 7 beta 2 are given below make sure u follow them as they are written!

The Good Side: iOS 7 beta 2 is having some new features such as a new FaceTime UI, new toggle controls when watching media, Voice Memos, a choice between a male version of Siri, and a female, and so much more.

The Bad Side: As iOS 7 is beta version, there are many bugs and glitches in it. I suggest you to do this installation on a spare device rather than your main device. other wise keep on a safe side and wait for iOS 7 to come out.

How to Install iOS 7 Beta 2 Without UDID or Developer Account

Restore your iDevice to latest version of iOS i.e 6.1.3 for iPhone 4s, 4, 3gs, iPod Touch and iPad and iOS 6.1.4 on iPhone 5.

Your iDevice Will be set up as a new iDevice (Make sure You make a backup before doing all this)

Connect your iDevice with your computer and Run iTunes

You can Download iOS 7 beta 2 from internet just Google it.


  1. On iTunes (When your iDevice is connected with iTunes) Click Get Started and While pressing and holding Shift (or Alt in Mac) Click Check For Updates
  2. iTunes will now ask for the ipsw file or iOS 7 firmware file. Select the iOS 7 beta 2 file from where You Saved it. Click open and Continue
  3. The Update process will start so leave your device for the update
  4. After the update finishes your device will restart (A several times) and then An Apple logo (Of iOS 7) Will appear and the device will start with iOS 7 in it. Have Fun!

I am having issues as soon as I get it all installed & then I pick my option set up,the ipad mini turns off and I have to start all over again each time.I ended up doing a restore and went back to the 6.1.3


I think iOS 7 beta 2 isn't compatible with iPad Mini. So u have to wait for it and you should just restore your iPad mini to 6.1.2. :)
